BASEBOOK
BASEBOOK is a real trading platform. Trades route to Gains, which charges a fee per side, and BASEBOOK is set up to take a referral share of that fee. That share is not switched on yet, so the platform earns nothing today. $BASEBOOK is intended to align the people who use and grow the terminal with that revenue when it starts.
Self-reinforcing and honest: the loop is powered by real trading fees, not emissions out of thin air.
People long and short stocks onchain through BASEBOOK.
LIVE→A referral share of the Gains fee, once the referrer is registered, and a protocol router fee as it scales.
NOT YET ACTIVE→A share of that fee revenue is directed to $BASEBOOK via buybacks and rewards.
PLANNED→More reason to earn, hold and stake, which brings more traders.
PLANNEDHonest on phasing. Live today: the community and trade-to-earn loop, funded by referral fees the platform already earns. Being built toward: staking, fee discounts, and the fee-share buyback mechanic that closes the flywheel. We label what's planned as planned.
Four pillars of utility, each tied to actually using and growing the platform.
Season points inform $BASEBOOK allocation, mechanics announced before Season 2 ends. Trade, or climb the Season leaderboard, and you earn. Distribution is meant to track real usage, not just who buys in.
LIVE · SEASON 2 POINTSHold or stake $BASEBOOK for lower trading fees, higher leverage tiers, and premium tools, AI thesis, smart-money signals, and 3D-world perks. The demand sink for the token.
PLANNED · ROLLING OUTGains charges a fee on every trade and BASEBOOK can take a referral share of it. When that is switched on, a portion is intended to flow back to $BASEBOOK through buybacks and rewards, tied to platform volume rather than emissions. None of it is running yet.
PLANNED · FEE-SHAREHolders steer the platform: which markets list, how fee parameters are set, and how the treasury is used. The book is shaped by the people who use it.
PLANNED · GOVERNANCEWhen $BASEBOOK launches on Base, its hooks contract is what gives the token a job, on-chain and verifiable. Plain-English, so there are no surprises:
Each $BASEBOOK trade carries a 1% fee at the pool, on buys and sells alike. No hidden tax, no per-wallet exceptions, the same for everyone.
PLANNED · HOOKThe fee splits three ways: ~40% buys back $BASEBOOK on the open market, ~30% funds the trader-rewards pool (PROOF leaderboard), ~30% to treasury that sustains the platform and secures revenue. Holders, traders, and the protocol all win as volume grows.
PLANNED · BUYBACK + REWARDS + TREASURYThe fee can never exceed 5%, that ceiling is written into the contract. Not even the treasury can raise it past the cap.
PLANNED · 5% CAPNo owner key, no fee switch, no treasury swap. The rules are fixed at deploy and can't be changed by anyone, including us. At launch you'll be able to read the verified source on BaseScan and check for yourself.
PLANNED · IMMUTABLESeason 2 is live now. Points inform $BASEBOOK allocation, earned through use, not bought. Exact mechanics announced before the season ends.
Illustrative split, final numbers locked at launch.
